Role Description :We are looking for an IBM WebSphere Developer to join our team. This is a contract role based in Chennai and requires on-site work. As an IBM WebSphere Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and supporting web applications using IBM WebSphere technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, develop, and deploy solutions. Additionally, you will troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and ensure code quality and security.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field- Strong experience in IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM HTTP Server, and IBM WebSphere MQ- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, XML, and web services (SOAP/REST)- Experience with database systems such as Oracle, MySQL, or DB2- Understanding of web application development concepts, frameworks, and tools- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies- Good problem-solving and analytical skills -Excellent communication and teamwork skills- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.- IBM WebSphere certification is a plus.
