Description:

Responsibilities :- Develop and maintain PostgreSQL databases, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability.- Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to meet business requirements.- Perform data migration tasks from Oracle and other databases to PostgreSQL.- Utilize Python programming for automation, data processing, and integration tasks.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data models and ETL processes.- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. - Implement and maintain SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) solutions.- Document database designs, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and compliance purposes.Requirements :- Strong expertise in SQL programming with PostgreSQL or similar cloud-hosted databases (AWS, GCP, Azure).- Extensive experience in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.- Proficiency in Python programming for data manipulation, automation, and integration tasks.- Hands-on experience with data migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL and other databases.- Familiarity with SSIS and SSRS for data integration and reporting.- Knowledge of cloud database warehouses like Snowflake or Azure Synapse is a plus.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.Location : Hyderabad (ref:hirist.tech)
