Description:

We're seeking a talented Senior Backend Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining critical backend systems that power our applications.Requirements :Education & Experience :- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent demonstrably successful work experience).- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer with a strong focus on backend development and architecture.Technical Expertise :- Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for building efficient and maintainable backend systems.- Extensive experience designing and building fast API endpoints capable of handling 1 million+ requests per day.- In-depth knowledge of Vercel, including deployment, configuration, and optimization of serverless functions.- Expertise in relational database design and optimization (MySQL, PostgreSQL) with a focus on data modeling and query optimization.- Experience with caching mechanisms like Redis to enhance application performance and scalability.Problem-Solving & DevOps :- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues efficiently.- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment tools.Communication & Collaboration :- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (design, frontend, product).Coding Best Practices :- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and reusable code.Tech Stack :- Backend : Node.js, PHP (familiarity preferred)- Deployment : Vercel (Next.js, Serverless Functions, Cron, Frontend Deployments)- Cloud: AWS (Lambda, EC2, RDS)- Database: MySQL, Redis Cloud- Programming Languages: TypeScript- Blockchain: ether.js (familiarity a plus) (ref:hirist.tech)
