Description:
The Senior API Architect will own the design, configuration/build, implementation, and maintenance of the API Platform which is primarily based on IBM APIC. Apply industry best practices as well as client standards shall be adhered to. This includes functional, security, performance, quality, and operational requirements. Design must be robust and account for HA and DR.Act as a Subject Matter Expert for API Platform.- Define long term API Architecture & Design Strategy based on the business strategy.- Drive the building and maintaining of API Platform independently.- Implement the Architectural & Security Policies in API Platform as per the EA & IT Security standards.- Provide Technical Guidance to API Development team, API Support team, DevOps team.- Engagement with multiple stakeholders at all levels including OEM partner.Required Experience : - Minimum 12 years of experience as an Architect in API Integration.- Minimum 5 years of experience in IBM Integration Stack like IBM APIC- Proven experience with ensuring enterprise scale APIs are adhering to policies and best practices.- Good knowledge of IBM App Connect and its role in an API centric architecture.- Able to evangelize industry trends and standards in the API space.- Hands-On experience building & implementing API Platform on Azure or any other Cloud.- Hands-On experience on Kubernetes (especially Azure Kubernetes Services)- Understanding of DevOps (ref:hirist.tech)
