Description:
Title : Sr. Backend Developer (NodeJS)Responsibilities :- Integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic- Developing all server-side logic, including data storage to optimize website performance- Integrating third-party libraries and APIs with Node.js projects- Designing and implementing RESTful APIs- Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code.- Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions.- Implementing test-driven development and automated testing for Node.js applications to optimise the performance of applications for full-scale production deployments- Make sure that updated security measures are in place to prevent unauthorised entrance- Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents.- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and bugs in Node.js applications- Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and scope- Staying updated with the latest Node.js developments and frameworksRequirements :- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent experience- At least 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js- Hands-on expertise in REST, MySQL/PostgreSQL, WebSocket, MongoDB, Redis, etc.- Integrating third-party libraries and APIs with Node.js projects- Designing and implementing RESTful APIs- Familiarity with Jenkins, Docker and AWS infrastructure- Understanding of data security principles- Proficiency in JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks- Good in-depth understanding of data structures and other computer science fundamentals- Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude skills- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities- Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.- Great organizational and time management skills.- The ability to operate as part of a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams (ref:hirist.tech)
