Position Title: OT Security Practice Lead - Cross-Sector ClientsLocation: Middle East / India Company: EDC Consulting, UAEOverview:As the OT (Operational Technology) Security Practice Lead for Cross-Sector Clients, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and leadership in OT and IOT security to clients across diverse industries such as Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, and others. You will serve as a trusted advisor, working closely with clients to assess their OT security needs, develop tailored solutions, and ensure the protection of critical infrastructure from cyber threats. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and drive OT security initiatives across multiple sectors and help organizations achieve resilience in their operational environments.Key Responsibilities:1. Lead the development and execution of OT security strategies and roadmaps for clients across various sectors, aligning with industry-specific requirements and regulatory standards.2. Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for clients seeking guidance on OT security best practices, technologies, and compliance requirements.3. Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' OT environments to identify security risks, vulnerabilities, and compliance gaps.4. Collaborate with client stakeholders to design and implement customized OT security solutions, including policies, procedures, controls, and technologies.5. Provide hands-on technical expertise and guidance in the deployment and configuration of OT security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, and endpoint security solutions.6. Develop and deliver OT security awareness training and workshops for client teams, fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness and vigilance.7. Lead and coordinate incident response activities for clients in the event of cybersecurity incidents affecting OT systems, ensuring timely resolution and recovery.8. Stay abreast of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and trends in OT security across multiple industries and provide proactive guidance to clients to enhance their security posture.9. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and challenges, and providing strategic advice and support to address their OT security needs.10. Actively contribute to thought leadership initiatives, industry forums, and knowledge sharing activities to promote OT security awareness and best practices across sectors.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443) preferred. Vendor specific certifications are also considered.2. Extensive experience 7 years minimum in OT security roles, with a track record of leading and delivering OT security projects for clients in diverse sectors including Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, Manufacturing, and others.3. Deep understanding of OT and IOT protocols, standards, and technologies, as well as industry-specific regulatory requirements (e.g., NERC CIP, IEC 62443 and country specific Critical Infrastructure related cyber security standards).4. Proven expertise in conducting OT and IOT security assessments, developing risk mitigation strategies, and implementing security controls in complex OT environments.5. Strong technical proficiency in OT and IOT security tools and technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus, and endpoint security solutions.6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with client stakeholders at all levels and communicate complex security concepts in a clear and concise manner.7. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and driving successful outcomes in a client-facing consulting environment.8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex OT systems, identify security risks, and develop practical solutions to address them.9. Ability to travel to client sites as needed (approximately 50% travel expected). The job requires you to work from home. However, You may have to travel onsite for client meetings or sometime you have to travel and work onsite temporarily.10.
