We are seeking an experienced Python Lead Developer to spearhead our development team. This role demands a strong technical background in Python programming, including expertise in API development, microservices, and both SQL and NoSQL databases. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Python frameworks such as Flask and FastAPI and will be responsible for guiding the architectural decisions, code quality, and overall software development lifecycle.Key Responsibilities :- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code.- Lead the design and development of scalable, robust Python applications and services.- Oversee API development and microservices architecture, ensuring best practices are followed.- Manage and mentor a team of Python developers, setting goals and conducting code reviews.- Work closely with both SQL and NoSQL databases for optimal data storage and retrieval.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.- Drive the adoption of software engineering best practices within the team and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.- Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle, from planning and prioritization to deployment and maintenance.- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.- Keep abreast of emerging trends in Python development and effectively integrate them into operations and activities.Personal Attributes:- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and teamwork skills.- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.- Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.- Expertise in Python frameworks, particularly Flask and FastAPI.- Strong experience in API development and microservices architecture.- Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases.- Solid understanding of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is advantageous.- Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.- Experience in agile methodologies and software engineering tools and practices (ref:hirist.tech)
