Description:
As a Senior ABAP Consultant, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing SAP solutions to meet our clients' business needs. You will leverage your deep understanding of ABAP programming language and SAP modules to deliver technical solutions that enhance system performance, functionality, and usability. Your expertise will be critical in driving successful SAP implementations and ensuring the overall success of our projects.Key Responsibilities : ABAP Development : - Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects) based on business requirements.- Implement custom enhancements and modifications to standard SAP functionality using ABAP Workbench and ABAP Objects.- Optimize ABAP code for performance and efficiency, adhering to best practices and coding standards.SAP Integration and Data Migration : - Develop and maintain interfaces between SAP and external systems using technologies such as RFC, IDoc, BAPI, and web services.- Perform data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), using SAP Data Services (BODS) or other ETL tools.- Ensure data integrity and consistency during data migration and integration processes.SAP Customization and Configuration : - Customize and configure SAP modules according to client requirements, including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and other SAP solutions.- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement custom solutions.Performance Tuning and Optimization : - Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize SAP systems for improved performance and scalability.- Conduct performance analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting to resolve issues and enhance system efficiency.Documentation and Knowledge Sharing : - Create technical documentation, including design documents, specifications, and user guides, to support development activities.- Share knowledge and best practices with team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 9 to 12 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA. -Expertise in ABAP programming language, ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects, and SAP development tools.- Proficiency in SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO, PP, or others.- Experience with SAP integration technologies, including RFC, IDoc, BAPI, and web services.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Location : Delhi (ref:hirist.tech)
