Responsibilities :- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.- Build, train, and manage a strong team of engineers.- Monitor performance and mentor the team to ensure high-quality work.- Establish and enforce engineering best practices, standards, and processes to optimize productivity and quality assurance.- Collaborate closely with product management and design teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations.- Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and ensure adherence to coding standards, and security protocols.- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on our products and recommending strategic enhancements.- Define project milestones, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress to mitigate risks and ensure timely delivery.- Lead efforts to ensure the security and compliance of our systems, including data protection, privacy, and regulatory requirements- Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement to maximize project success.- Create and maintain the technical vision and architecture for our global SaaS offering.Requirements :- 6-8 years of progressive experience in software engineering.- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript technologies (e.g., Django, Flask, React.js, Node.js ) and familiarity with modern web technologies (HTML5 CSS3 etc.).- Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to build, mentor, and motivate high-performing engineering teams.- Ability to define and monitor processes.- Demonstrated experience in independently running engineering functions, from project planning to execution and delivery.- Understanding of infrastructure and running a product as a service to ensure high availability and scalability of our SaaS product.- Team player with good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills (ref:hirist.tech)
