Location : Bengaluru, HSR LayoutReview Criteria :Strong Backend Developer (System Design) ProfileMandatory :- Must have more than 2+ YOE in experience in designing scalable applications- Must have good experience in designing microservices, asynchronous programming (eg, Message Queue or Kafka or Google Pub/Sub), query optimization, caching technologies(Redis/Memcached), search technologoes (Solr/EleasticSearch)- Must have 2+ years experience in Python and Django / Flask / Pyramid- Must have Experience in any databases - MySQL / PostgreSQL / Postgres / Oracle / SQL Server / DB2 / SQL- B2C Company Only(eg, ecommerce, food delivery, marketplaces etc)Mandatory Education : BE / BTECH / BCA / MCARole & Responsibilities:- Design and architect the backend infrastructure using microservices for our products- Define system architecture, including data models, APIs, and integration points.- Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of backend systems.- Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.- Oversee the development and implementation of new features and system improvements.- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain high code quality standards.- Implement best practices for security, data protection, and compliance.- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation.- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.Ideal Candidate:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.- 3-5 years of professional experience in backend development, preferably in a similar industry- Strong proficiency in Python and Django web framework.- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.- Familiarity with caching technologies like Redis and search engines like Elasticsearch.- Hands-on experience with message brokers and task queues, such as Celery.- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience in building and consuming them.- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.Bonus skills :- Prior experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.- Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP/AWS/Azure- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and tools like Kubernetes.- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
