We are looking for a Base 24 Developer for one of our esteemed clients in Pune having experience into Base 24 Classic,POS,Tandem,Cobol.Exp: 6+years. Location: Pune. CTC: Up to 30 LPA. Shifts : General Shifts. Job Description: - Minimum 6+ years of working experience in Base24 classic. - POS experience preferred.- Possess strong domain/product knowledge of Base24 and card payments industry. - Technically competent in HP Non Stop platform and excellent in TAL & COBOL programming language.- Knowledge on at least one replication tool used on Tandem. - Knowledge of ASSET or FINSIM simulator. - Self-motivated and ability to work efficiently by himself/herself as well as in team.- Good analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills. We are looking for candidates who can join us within 30 days-. Responsibilities: - Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems related to Base24 Classic, particularly in a POS environment. - Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and chat communication. - Analyze system logs, identify root causes of issues, and implement effective solutions.- Leverage expertise in HP NonStop platform, TAL, and COBOL programming to address technical challenges. - Configure and maintain Base24 Classic systems to ensure optimal performance and stability. - Manage system backups and disaster recovery procedures. - Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., development, product management) to improve support processes and product functionality. - Stay up-to-date on the latest Base24 Classic features and updates. - Document solutions and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for future reference. - Work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines. Qualifications: - Minimum of 6+ years of experience working with Base24 Classic, preferably in a POS environment. - Strong understanding of the card payments industry and its related technologies. - Demonstrated expertise in HP NonStop platform, TAL, and COBOL programming languages. - Working knowledge of at least one replication tool used on Tandem (e.g., Data Guardian, QDD). - Familiarity with ASSET or FINSIM simulator for testing and troubleshooting purposes. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. - Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. - A customer-centric approach with a commitment to exceeding expectations. - Proven ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
