Job Description :Role and Responsibilities :- Analysing requirements and designing the database schema and data models.- Creating and modifying database tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures.- Writing efficient SQL queries to retrieve, update, and manipulate data.- Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks by optimizing SQL queries, indexes, and database configurations.- Monitoring and analyzing database performance using built-in tools and third-party monitoring solutions.- Conducting query and index analysis to improve overall database performance.- Implementing and enforcing data integrity rules, constraints, and validations.- Applying appropriate access controls and permissions to ensure data security.- Performing regular backups and disaster recovery planning to safeguard critical data.- Performing routine database maintenance tasks, including vacuuming, reindexing, and data purging.- Identifying and resolving database-related issues, such as connectivity problems, performance degradation, and data inconsistencies.- Analyzing error logs, query plans, and system metrics to diagnose and debug database problems.- Managing database migrations and version control using tools like Liquibase or Flyway.- Ensuring smooth data migration and synchronization between different database environments.
