Job Summary :We are seeking an experienced SAP BODS Consultant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ETL solutions using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS). This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure data integration, data quality, and data governance within the organization.Key Responsibilities :- ETL Development: Design and develop ETL processes using SAP BODS to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the target systems.- Data Integration: Integrate data from different source systems (SAP and non-SAP) ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and completeness.- Data Quality Management: Implement data quality checks and transformations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data.- Performance Tuning: Optimize ETL processes for performance and troubleshoot any performance-related issues.- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of ETL processes, data mappings, and workflows.- Collaboration: Work closely with data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Support: Provide production support and resolve issues related to ETL jobs and data integration.- Testing: Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solutions meet the business requirements.- Training: Provide training and support to end-users and other team members on SAP BODS functionalities.Required Skills and Qualifications :Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience : Experience in SAP BODS development and implementation.Technical Skills :- Proficiency in SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) and its components.- Strong understanding of ETL processes, data integration, and data warehousing concepts.- Experience with SAP HANA, SAP BW, and other SAP modules.- Knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, and PL/SQL.- Familiarity with data quality tools and methodologies.- Analytical Skills : Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex ETL issues.- Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Certifications: SAP BODS certification is a plus.Preferred Skills :- Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms.- Knowledge of other ETL tools and data integration solutions.- Understanding of data governance and data management best practices.
