Role Description :This is a full-time on-site role for an IBM Storage Architect. The Storage Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing storage solutions, troubleshooting storage-related issues, and managing storage infrastructure. The role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective storage operations.Qualifications :- Storage Architecture, Storage Solutions, and Storage skills- Troubleshooting and Problem-solving skills- Experience in managing storage infrastructure- Strong understanding of storage technologies and best practices- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively in a team environment- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities- Relevant certifications in storage technologies are a plus- Experience in the IT industry is a plus- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldResponsibilities :- Design and implement storage solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices.- Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance of storage infrastructure.- Manage and maintain storage infrastructure, including storage arrays, SAN switches, and backup systems.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, network engineers, and application developers, to ensure seamless integration of storage solutions.- Monitor storage performance and capacity, proactively identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks and capacity constraints.- Implement and maintain data protection and disaster recovery strategies, including backup and replication solutions.- Stay updated on emerging storage technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the organization's storage infrastructure.- Document storage configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity of operations.- Provide technical guidance and support to junior storage administrators, fostering their professional growth and development.- Participate in change management processes, ensuring the successful implementation of storage-related changes with minimal disruption to business operations.
