Description:
Summary :We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Markit EDM Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in the Markit EDM platform to help clients optimize their data management and information governance processes. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, design and implement effective solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.Responsibilities : - Collaborate with business stakeholders and data management teams to understand their requirements and challenges related to data integration, data quality, and data governance.- Design and implement data models, workflows, and business rules within Markit EDM to improve data quality, accessibility, and compliance.- Configure and customize Markit EDM components, including data adapters, data mappings, validation rules, and workflow processes.- Develop and maintain data integration interfaces between Markit EDM and other systems, databases, and data sources using ETL tools, APIs, and web services.- Provide ongoing support and training to users on Markit EDM functionalities and best practices.- Analyze and report on data quality metrics to ensure continuous improvement.- Document solutions and maintain a knowledge base for future reference.- Stay up-to-date on the latest Markit EDM features and best practices.Qualifications : - Minimum of 5+ years of experience working with data management and information governance principles.- In-depth knowledge of the Markit EDM platform, including its functionalities, data models, and configuration options.- Strong understanding of data integration concepts, ETL tools, and data quality principles.- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server).- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical audiences.- Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.- A customer-centric approach with a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
