Overview :- LTIMindtree Limited is an Indian multinational information technology services and consulting company.- A subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, the company was incorporated in 1996 and employs more than 90,000 people.- As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for leading quality assurance activities, developing test plans, and implementing testing strategies to ensure the highest standards of product quality.- You will work closely with development, operations, and product management teams to identify and address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities :Quality Assurance Leadership :- Lead quality assurance efforts throughout the product development lifecycle.- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and methodologies.- Mentor and guide junior quality engineers in best practices and testing strategies.Test Planning and Execution :- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.- Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.- Automate testing processes using appropriate tools and frameworks.Defect Management:- Identify, document, and track defects and issues through resolution.- Work with development teams to prioritize and address defects in a timely manner.- Ensure root cause analysis is performed for critical defects and issues.Process Improvement :- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.- Implement best practices for quality assurance and testing.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address process gaps.Documentation and Reporting :- Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.- Generate and present quality metrics and reports to stakeholders.- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Collaboration and Communication :- Work closely with development, product management, and operations teams to ensure alignment on quality objectives.- Communicate quality issues and risks to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.- Participate in design and code reviews to provide quality-related feedback.Required Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.- 6 to 10 years of experience in quality engineering or software testing.- Strong knowledge of software development and testing methodologies.- Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e. g. , Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e. g. , JIRA, TestRail).- Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in performance testing and tools (e. g. , JMeter, LoadRunner).- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e. g. , AWS, Azure, GCP).- Certification in quality assurance or testing (e. g. , ISTQB, CSTE).Location : Pune (ref:hirist.tech)
