Role Description :This is a full-time on-site position based in Gurugram for a Meraki Palo Alto professional. As a key member of the networking team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Meraki Palo Alto systems. Your role will involve ensuring the stability, security, and availability of the network infrastructure, as well as troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues.Key Responsibilities :- System Management: Manage and maintain Meraki Palo Alto systems, including firewalls, switches, and routers.- Ensure the stability and performance of the network infrastructure.- Security Implementation: Implement and maintain network security protocols and best practices to protect against cybersecurity threats.- Configure firewall rules and policies to safeguard the network environment.- Network Administration: Perform network administration tasks, including device configuration, software updates, and performance monitoring.- Ensure the smooth operation of network services and applications.- Troubleshooting: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues, including connectivity problems, performance issues, and security incidents.- Analyze logs and diagnostic data to identify root causes and implement solutions.- Device Configuration: Configure and maintain Meraki Palo Alto devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN concentrators.- Ensure proper configuration of VLANs, routing protocols, and VPN tunnels.- VPN Technologies: Configure and manage VPN technologies, including site-to-site VPNs and remote access VPNs.- Ensure secure and reliable connectivity for remote users and branch offices.Qualifications:- Meraki Palo Alto Expertise: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Meraki Palo Alto systems, including firewalls, switches, and routers.- Network Security Knowledge: Knowledge of network security protocols and best practices, with experience in implementing firewall rules and policies to protect the network environment.- Network Administration Skills: Experience in network administration tasks, including device configuration, software updates, and performance monitoring.- Device Configuration: Proficiency in configuring and maintaining Meraki Palo Alto devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN concentrators.- Firewall Rules and Policies: Experience in configuring firewall rules and policies to control traffic flow and enforce security policies.- VPN Technologies: Understanding of VPN technologies and experience in configuring and managing site-to-site VPNs and remote access VPNs.- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex network issues and implement effective solutions.- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Qualifications:- Relevant Certifications: Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, or Palo Alto Networks certifications are a plus and demonstrate expertise in networking and network security.
