Description:
Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices and applications with a focus on observability and telemetry.- Implement best practices for instrumenting, collecting, analyzing, and visualizing telemetry data (metrics, logs, traces) to monitor and troubleshoot system behavior and performance.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate observability solutions into the software development lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.- Drive improvements in system reliability, scalability, and performance through data-driven insights and continuous feedback loops.- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in observability, telemetry, and distributed systems to ensure our systems remain at the forefront of innovation.- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and expertise in observability and telemetry practices.Requirements :- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 6+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Java programming.- Expertise in observability and telemetry tools and practices, including but not limited to Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), and distributed tracing.- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-native technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).- Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance, and fault-tolerant systems.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for troubleshooting complex issues.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus (ref:hirist.tech)
