Position Name : Data Engineer (Integration)Experience Required : 10+yrsSalary : As per the Market Standard or Else whatever budget you haveNotice period : Immediate joiner Job Type : Full timeLocation : RemoteJob Description :Responsibilities :- Understand all forms of data integration including APIs - Event-based, Streaming, REST and GraphQL API, CDC/Replication, Batch, SFTP, OneDrive/SharePoint etc.- Proven experience with off the shelf products like Fivetran, HVR, Stitch etc.- Proven experience with developing integrations using cloud platforms like AWS. Including using API Gateways, event routers, event buses, queues, notification services etc.- Able to design and build metadata driven integrations where possible.- Proven experience with Data Warehouses and Data Lakes. - Understands data management layers, medallion architecture, slowly changing dimensions, dimensional modelling etc.- Suitable experience working with infrastructure teams to enable connectivity.- Excellent stakeholder management skills.- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.- Must have excellent communication skills both written and spoken.- Work autonomously on complex data engineering tasks and deliver high-quality results.Qualifications, Skills and Experience :- 10+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering roles, with a focus on data integration including Event-based APIs, Streaming, REST and GraphQL API etc.- Must have strong proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining data integration solutions.- Must have experience in designing and implementing Data Warehouses and Data Lakes- Strong understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and best practices including the data pipeline.- Must have understanding for data modeling, schema design, and data governance principles.- Familiarity with cloud-based data integration services and tools.- Good to have experience working in AWS cloud environments and utilizing relevant services for data engineering tasks.- Good to have Python programming experience.- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.- Good to have hands-on experience with DevOps practices, enabling seamless data engineering operations.- Worked in Agile/Scrum lifecycle.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
