Description:
Position Summary :We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in Selenium and Core Java to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of OOP concepts and experience in writing automation code. Proficiency in service and UI automation, particularly within CI/CD pipelines on cloud platforms like Azure, is highly desired. Experience with microservices and Wiremock will be considered a strong advantage.Key Responsibilities :- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Core Java for UI testing.- Write efficient, reusable, and reliable automation code based on strong OOP principles.- Implement and manage test cases in Katalon or RestAssured for both UI and service automation.- Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines, preferably on Azure.- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality software releases.- Utilize microservices architecture to enhance testing strategies.- Employ Wiremock for service virtualization to create stable and predictable test environments.Required Skills and Qualifications :- Proficiency in Selenium and Core Java, with hands-on experience in UI testing.- Strong understanding of OOP concepts and ability to write robust automation code.- Experience with Katalon or RestAssured for service automation.- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools, with a preference for Azure cloud experience.- Familiarity with microservices architecture.- Experience with Wiremock for service mocking and testing.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Highly Desired Skills :- Experience with service automation and UI automation within CI/CD pipelines on cloud platforms, especially Azure.- Understanding of microservices architecture and its application in testing.- Proficiency in Wiremock for service virtualization.
