About the Role :We are seeking a talented and creative Drupal developer to join our team and play a key role in building innovative web applications. You will leverage your expertise in Drupal 8 themes and templates, along with strong front-end development skills, to create user-friendly and visually appealing web experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced and collaborative environment.Responsibilities :- Develop and maintain web applications using Drupal 8.- Work closely with designers and back-end developers to translate designs and functionalities into well-structured, maintainable Drupal themes and modules.- Utilize web standards to build valid and semantic HTML5 and CSS3 code.- Implement responsive design principles to ensure applications function seamlessly across various devices and screen sizes.- Create user flows, design wireframes, and develop UI elements to enhance user experience.- Collaborate with the team to analyze and critique design concepts, providing constructive feedback with clear reasoning.- Troubleshoot and resolve development issues effectively.- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in web development, including JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular) and Drupal backend development.Required Skills :- Proven experience developing Drupal 8 themes and templates with Acquia Site Studio.- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and web accessibility best practices.- Basic knowledge of JavaScript and a JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular).- Experience with preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS).- Proficiency in using graphic design tools like Photoshop and the ability to create wireframes.- Understanding of user flows, UI elements, and responsive design principles.- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.- A passion for Drupal and a desire to learn and grow within the development landscape.Bonus Points :- Experience with Drupal backend development.- Experience with other CMS platforms.- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).- Strong understanding of design principles and trends in new media.
