Project ManagerJob Description : - Primarily responsible for Projects Delivery & Management within Time, Budget and Quality Standards defined by Company. Should have performed Technical hands-on in past.- Responsible for overall customer satisfaction and timely delivery of Solution with Quality Standards & Budget.- Perform effective project management & technical leadership role. Responsible to create project plan, project schedule, track the plan till complete delivery.- Monitor technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility- Ensure resource availability and allocation- To estimate and plan projects from start to end, with built in contingencies.- Develop a detailed project plan / schedule to track progress- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques- Report and escalate to management as needed- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders- Work closely with customer to understand the business requirement for the project, develop effective working relationships and ongoing management processes for the project.- Perform risk management to minimize project risks- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation- Lead the planning and implementation of project- Perform the quality assurance in the project- Directly supervise the project team allocated, Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees; planning, assigning, directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Project Mgmt. - Project Scope- Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and its scope.- Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to the client.- Effectively apply suitable methodology and enforce project standards.- Prepare for engagement review and quality assurance procedures.- Minimize our risk on project.- Ensure project documents are completed and stored appropriately.Communication- Facilitate team and client meetings effectively.- Hold regular status meetings with project team.- Keep project team well informed of changes within the organization and general corporate news.- Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors.- Deliver informative and well-organized presentations.- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.- Able to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully."Skills & Experience : - Experience in managing and executing GIS, LiDAR and other Geospatial related projects for local as well as International clients- Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.- Flexible during times of change.- Sound Project Management & Technical Skills on Java & .Net- Total Experience between 8 to 12 years out of which a minimum of 3-5 years as Project Manager/Leader- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools- Proficient in project management software I.e. Open Project, Microsoft Project- Education : BE/BTech/MCA required.- Experience with working in GIS domainPrefer candidate from GIS based companies like Here MapBase Location : Mumbai (ref:hirist.tech)
