Job Description :We are seeking a skilled QA - Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance, experience with automated testing frameworks, and a passion for ensuring high-quality software delivery. This role involves designing and implementing automated tests, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve our products.Key Roles and Responsibilities :Automated Test Development :- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and desktop applications.- Implement automated test cases using tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.Test Planning and Execution :- Collaborate with QA analysts and developers to understand requirements and design comprehensive test plans.- Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.Bug Identification and Reporting :- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.- Work with development teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes.Continuous Integration and Delivery :- Integrate automated tests into continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.- Work with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment processes.Quality Assurance Best Practices :- Promote QA best practices and standards within the team.- Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and reliability of code.Performance and Load Testing :- Develop and execute performance and load tests to ensure the scalability and stability of applications.- Analyze performance test results and provide recommendations for improvements.Documentation and Reporting :- Maintain clear and concise test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.- Prepare and present test reports to stakeholders.Team Collaboration :- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality software releases.- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA engineers as needed.Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).- Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.- Strong proficiency in automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.- Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
