Job Description :- The AMS Verification Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and performance of complex analog and mixed-signal (AMS) designs.- This role involves working closely with design and system engineers to develop and execute verification plans to validate the behavior of AMS designs in both digital and analog domains.- The AMS Verification Engineer contributes to the overall success of the organization by identifying and resolving design flaws, ensuring compliance with specifications, and delivering high-quality, reliable products to market.Key skills : Cadence command line flow ,manager, Verilog AMS and knowledge to work in UVM-C based envKey responsibilities :- Develop and execute verification plans for analog and mixed-signal designs.- Collaborate with design and system engineers to understand design requirements and specifications.- Design and implement verification environments using Verilog, SystemVerilog, and Universal Verification Methodology (UVM).- Write and maintain test benches, test cases, and functional coverage models for AMS designs.- Perform functional verification of AMS designs at module, chip, and system levels.- Analyze and debug simulation failures to identify and resolve design issues.- Conduct formal and informal design reviews to ensure compliance with specifications and design guidelines.- Develop and use analog behavioral models for simulation and verification.- Work with emulation and FPGA prototyping teams to verify AMS designs in hardware.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AMS designs into larger systems and verify their functionality.- Contribute to the improvement of verification methodologies, tools, and processes to increase efficiency and quality.- Document verification environments, methodologies, and results for future reference.- Provide support to post-silicon validation and debug efforts as needed.- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in analog and mixed-signal verification techniques.Required qualifications :- Proven experience in analog and mixed-signal verification methodologies and techniques.- Proficiency in Verilog and SystemVerilog for RTL design and verification.- Hands-on experience with Universal Verification Methodology (UVM) for verification environments.- Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal design fundamentals and concepts.- Familiarity with AMS simulation tools such as Spice, Verilog-AMS, and AMS behavioral modeling.- Ability to analyze and debug complex analog and mixed-signal simulation failures.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying design issues.Location : Bangalore (ref:hirist.tech)
