Job Summary: The SAP ABAP BOPF Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SAP solutions using ABAP, BOPF (Business Object Processing Framework), CDS (Core Data Services), and ODATA. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Key Responsibilities: ABAP Development: - Develop and maintain complex ABAP programs using best practices. - Utilize the ABAP Workbench and Data Dictionary for efficient development. - Create Classical and Interactive Reports using ALV. - Implement Dialog Programming and Object-Oriented Programming techniques. BOPF Framework: - Design and implement solutions using the BOPF framework. - Develop and enhance BOPF objects and structures.- Ensure seamless integration of BOPF components with other SAP modules. CDS and ODATA: - Develop and manage CDS views to support business requirements.- Implement ODATA services for data exposure and integration. - Optimize CDS views and ODATA services for performance and scalability. System Analysis and Design: - Conduct system analysis to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Design robust and scalable solutions to meet business needs. - Perform unit testing and support integration and user acceptance testing. Project Management: - Manage multiple deliverables and projects concurrently. - Ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders to report on project progress and any issues. Collaboration and Support: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. - Provide post-implementation support and resolve any technical issues. - Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer to team members and end-users. Qualifications: Education: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: - Minimum 5 years of hands-on ABAP development experience. - Proven experience working with BOPF. - Strong experience with CDS views and ODATA services. (ref:hirist.tech)
