Job Title : M365 Azure Migration Specialist. Location : Abu Dhabi, UAE. Duration : 18 Months and extendable. Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced M365 Azure Migration Specialist to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi for an 18-month project. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the migration, implementation, and optimization of Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure services. This position requires deep technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities : Migration Planning and Execution :- Design and implement strategies for migrating on-premises workloads to Microsoft 365 and Azure.- Assess current infrastructure and identify dependencies to ensure seamless migration.- Develop detailed migration plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.Technical Implementation :- Perform migrations of email systems, file shares, and applications to M365 and Azure.- Configure and manage Azure services, including virtual machines, networking, and storage.- Ensure data integrity and security during migration processes.- Post-Migration Support and Optimization.- Provide post-migration support to resolve any issues and ensure optimal performance.- Conduct system performance tuning and optimization.- Implement best practices for Azure and M365 governance and management.- Collaboration and Documentation:.- Work closely with IT teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular project updates.- Document migration processes, configurations, and best practices.- Train and support end-users and administrators on new systems and processes.Security and Compliance :- Ensure all migrations comply with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.- Implement security measures, including identity and access management, data protection, and threat detection.Qualifications :- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft 365 Certified) are highly desirable.Experience :- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years specializing in Microsoft 365 and Azure migrations.- Proven experience in planning and executing complex migration projects.- Strong understanding of cloud computing, virtualization, and networking concepts.Technical Skills :- Expertise in Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.- Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure AD, virtual machines, networking, and storage.- Experience with migration tools and methodologies, such as Microsoft FastTrack, BitTitan, and ShareGate.- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation.Soft Skills :- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Preferred Qualifications :- Experience working in large-scale IT environments.- Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments.- Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in the UAE.- Join our team and contribute to a transformative project that will shape the future of IT infrastructure in Abu Dhabi.
