It is currently the world's largest IT infrastructure services provider and the fifth-largest consulting provider.Responsibilities : - Development : Design, develop, and implement Ab Initio solutions to meet business requirements and project objectives. This includes designing and building data processing pipelines, data integration workflows, and data quality processes. - Data Analysis : Analyze business requirements and data sources to design efficient and scalable solutions. Perform data profiling, data cleansing, and data transformation tasks as needed. - Performance Tuning : Optimize Ab Initio graphs and workflows for performance and scalability. Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize data processing algorithms. - Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, data mappings, and system specifications. Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to team members. - Testing and Validation : Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality and performance of Ab Initio solutions. Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system testing as needed. Ensure solutions meet quality standards and comply with best practices. - Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data architects, and software developers, to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and project meetings. Qualifications : Experience : 3 - 10 years of experience in Ab Initio development, including experience with Ab Initio GDE (Graphical Development Environment), EME (Enterprise Metadata Environment), and Co>Operating System. Skills : - Proficiency in Ab Initio components such as Partitioning, Parallelism, and Component Reuse. - Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data integration best practices. - Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata) and data modeling techniques. - Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystem technologies (e.g., HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, Spark) is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Education : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications : - Ab Initio certification(s) are preferred but not required. Communication : - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. (ref:hirist.tech)
