Position Overview : As a Hands-On UX Lead at Kickdrum, you are responsible for crafting user experiences for both our client and internal projects. You review the designs created with clients and leadership teams, oversee and provide feedback on junior designers' work, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the implementation of effective design solutions.Responsibilities : Hands-On Design : - Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch as part of the design process.- Ensure that design solutions align with business objectives, user needs, and industry best practices.- Continuously iterate on designs based on user insights and evolving project requirements.- Advocate for user-centered design principles and methodologies within the organization.Interface with Clients : - Engage with clients to understand their business goals, user needs, and project requirements.- Present design and user research findings to clients, gathering feedback and iterating on solutions.- Act as a primary point of contact for UX-related discussions with clients, building strong relationships and ensuring client's success.Cross-Functional Collaboration : - Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure seamless collaboration.- Act as a bridge between design, development, and other departments, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.Lead and Review UX Design discussions : - Review designs created by other designers and provide feedback.- Hire and coach designers on their career growth at Kickdrum- Be the central point of contact for anything UX @Kickdrum.Qualifications : Experience : - 8+ years of experience in UX design- Demonstrated success in delivering impactful, user-centered design solutions.- Experience in engaging with clients, understanding their needs, presenting design solutions, and incorporating feedback.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions.- Experience working with development teams- Proficiency in working with design software like Figma, Affinity Design etc.- Experience in leading designers would be an added plusPortfolio : A portfolio showcasing a range of UX design projects.Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or any design-related field.We invite you to apply if you are an experienced UX designer with a passion for innovation and a drive to create exceptional user experiences.
