Embedded Software Engineer - C++/RTOS (5-8 yrs) Pune (Semiconductor/VLSI/EDA)

Description:
We are seeking a new Lead Engineer Embedded Development who will work on Embedded Development team responsible for a highly Embedded C++ & Rtos. This role requires a deep understanding of Embedded software processes (specifically Embedded C++ & Rtos), efficient project management capabilities, superb communication talent.Requirements :- Experience working through transition from a fully manual coding environment to fully Simulink generated code environment- Safety related software satisfying IEC 61508- Experience in RTOS based system e.g. VxWorks, UCOS, Threadx, FreeRTOS, MQX.- Knowledge in Design Patterns.- Linux: Hands on experience of Linux, U-Boot, kernel, GDB, CMake.- BSP, Device driver development knowledge- Experience in Database management (SQL/ SQL lite) is desirable.- Familiar with Embedded Security best Practise- Hands on experience with usage of JTAG debuggers, Emulators, oscilloscopes, function generators etc.- Experience on industrial communication protocols such as EtherCAT, Profinet, etc.- Should have exposure in developing embedded software for various microcontrollers.- Should have exposure to Bus communication like RS232, SPI, I2C etc.- Should have validated experience in embedded systems design with multitasking real-time operating systems.Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart :- Bachelors/Master's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering required.- Technically sound in embedded software development- Effective verbal and written communication skills as well as good presentation skills- Familiar with Agile and traditional software development lifecycle in a product development environment (ref:hirist.tech)
