Description:
Role: Manual - QA Lead (TV) - MumbaiKey Responsibilities:- Take ownership of the product; estimate, prioritize, plan, coordinate, develop and execute functional test coverage. Test the product to meet the business expectations, acceptance criteria and all use cases.- Define test processes, required test activities, deliverables, and test schedules, including delivery priorities.- Perform manual functional testing of our software stack, including UI and API testing.- Design, develop and implement test harnesses, test plans, test cases for the testing of Web UIs and APIs, assure all new development is meeting business rules and acceptance criteria.- Analyze user stories, requirements, pass-fail criteria, test design, defect logging and tracking - Actively participate in all phases of testing. (In-sprint functional testing, integration testing, API testing, performance and regression testing at staging and production after every release.)- Conduct test case reviews to ensure scenarios accurately capture requirements and pass-fail criteria.- Actively engage in root cause analysis, defect reporting and triaging.- Collaborate with stakeholders and team members on above job duties and other related; strong communication skills verbal and writtenNote :- Candidate should be based out of Mumbai (ideally Thane or Navi Mumbai) and will work out of OTT play TV Labs at Airoli (Navi Mumbai).- Candidate should have a smart TV at home and should be comfortable testing on TV at home/office during Prime Time (9PM-11PM) or over the weekends.- Consumption on OTT play peaks during prime time (9PM-11:30PM) and on weekends. So candidate should be comfortable working in shifts (for e.g., 3PM-12 midnight) (ref:hirist.tech)
