Here's a comprehensive job description for an SRE with the specified skills:Responsibilities :- On-call Shifts : Work on-call shifts to prevent incidents from ever happening.- Infrastructure Management : Run infrastructure using tools such as Chef, Ansible, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and Kubernetes.Responsibilities :- Will be working primarily on a set of digital products focused on consumer facing containerized web & mobile applications, content streaming, distributed data stores, data engineering & analytics, serverless functions & hosting of API's.- Will be responsible for doing all the technical implementation as per the requests in JIRA for different self-hosted & managed resources on AWS in an automated fashion, using the best practices of DevOps, security & cost optimisation.- Shall be creating all the automation scripts in Gitlab & aware of the Gitflow model for pull requests.- Creating documentation for everything Cloud DevOps in Confluence.- Self-driven, individual contributor, aware of Agile Scrum methodology to participate in project activitiesRequirements :- Computer Sc. engineering graduate with 2-4 years of relevant work experience as a Site Reliability Engineer- Extremely knowledgeable on Linux, Shell Scripting, AWS core services (VPC, EC2 S3 IAM, RDS), Amazon EKS/Kubernetes, GIT, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana.- Build management of digital services based on Java & React / React Native.- Strong operating system fundamentals with a focus on performance optimisation & reliability of the system.- Has exposure to networking concepts (SSH, FTP, TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, CDN etc.)- Good to have experience working with distributed systems & databases (SQL, NoSQL, Cache), stream-processing (Kafka), message-queuing (RabbitMQ) & search & analytics platform (ELK).- Excellent organisational, verbal & written communication skills.- Aptitude to be a good team player & the desire to learn & implement new Open Source technologies.- AWS Solution Architect / Professional certified a plus.
