Job Description :As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our systems and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and operate resilient infrastructure and applications. Your expertise will help us achieve our goals of delivering high-quality services and exceptional user experiences.Key Responsibilities :- System Architecture : Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions to support our applications and services.- Automation : Develop automation scripts and tools to automate deployment, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance tasks.- Reliability Engineering : Implement reliability engineering principles and practices to maximize system uptime and minimize service disruptions.Monitoring and Alerting : Set up monitoring systems and configure alerts to detect and respond to issues proactively. Use tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack for monitoring and logging.- Incident Response : Respond to and resolve incidents and outages in a timely manner. Conduct post-incident reviews and implement preventive measures to avoid similar incidents in the future.- Performance Optimization : Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize system performance through capacity planning, load testing, and performance tuning.- Security : Implement security best practices and controls to protect our systems and data. Conduct security reviews and audits to ensure compliance with security standards.- Continuous Deployment : Implement continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate software delivery and release processes.- Disaster Recovery : Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures. Test and validate disaster recovery mechanisms regularly.- Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.- Collaboration : Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of goals and objectives.- Knowledge Sharing : Share knowledge and best practices with team members through training sessions, workshops, and documentation.Qualifications :Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience : 5 to 8 years of experience in system administration, software engineering, or a related field, with a focus on site reliability engineering.Technical Skills :- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.- Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.- Knowledge of networking concepts, load balancing, and distributed systems architecture.- Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards.Soft Skills :- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.- Strong organizational and time-management skills.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
