Role Overview :The Regional IT Technical Director is responsible for leading a regional team of skilled IT professionals who manage and enhance IT infrastructure, tools, and services that support the workforce across multiple sites. This role requires an in-depth understanding of Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) technologies and services, as well as knowledge of delivery organizations and their operations. The director will ensure that the regional technical landscape meets current and future business needs, fully documented and aligned with global standards.Key Responsibilities :- Team Leadership : Lead and manage a regional team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in service delivery.- Infrastructure Management : Oversee the IT infrastructure, tools, and services across the region, ensuring they support the workforce effectively.- Technical Expertise : Maintain a thorough understanding of ETS technologies and services, ensuring their optimal performance and alignment with business needs.- Stakeholder Collaboration : Liaise with technical/service capability owners, ETS leadership, and regional stakeholders to understand and address technical requirements.- Workforce Support : Understand workforce requirements at a persona/BTG level to deliver world-class IT services, appreciating the impact of IT on business-critical activities.- Service Consistency : Ensure consistent delivery of AskIT, Onsite, and VIP services across the region, aligning with Operations IT and Onsite service strategies and SOPs.- Technology Adoption : Drive proactive engagement and adoption of technologies by the workforce through effective communication and training.- Local Services Management : Own and manage locally sourced or specific services for the region, ensuring tight contract management.- Global Alignment : Ensure local IT teams in marketing companies are fully informed and engaged, supporting a globally consistent approach to services.- Documentation : Ensure all aspects of the regional technical landscape, including CMDB data, are fully documented and understood.Requirements :- Experience : Extensive experience in IT infrastructure management and service delivery within a large, complex organization.- Technical Knowledge : Deep understanding of ETS technologies and services.- Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead and develop a team of IT professionals.- Stakeholder Management : Strong skills in collaborating with and managing relationships with various stakeholders.- Service Management : Experience in managing IT services, including AskIT, Onsite, VIP, and OCS services.- Communication Skills : Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.- Problem-Solving : Solution-oriented approach to addressing and resolving technical challenges.- Project Management : Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.- Adaptability : Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving requirements.- Global Perspective : Understanding of global IT service delivery and the ability to align regional services with global standards (ref:hirist.tech)
