Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software testing, with proficiency in HP test tools, automated testing, and Tricentis Tosca development. Additionally, experience with requirements analysis, test case/script development, and testing various types of applications is essential for this role.Key Responsibilities:HP Test Tools Proficiency:- Utilize HP test tools including Test Director/Quality Center and Quick Test Professional (QTP) for test management and automation.- Ensure the effective use of these tools in testing web, GUI, client/server, and database applications.Automated Testing:- Develop and execute automated test cases/scripts using HP QTP and other automated testing tools.- Review and enhance automated test suites to improve test coverage and efficiency.Requirements Analysis:- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into test cases and scripts.- Ensure alignment between test cases/scripts and project requirements.Tricentis Tosca Development:- Leverage Tricentis Tosca for test automation and continuous testing initiatives.- Develop and maintain test assets using Tosca, including test cases, test scripts, and test data.Communication and Collaboration:- Communicate effectively with system developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of testing objectives and requirements.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize tasks and resolve issues.Problem Solving and Analytical Skills:- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve testing issues and challenges.- Proactively address defects and escalate issues as needed.Health and Human Services Project Experience:- Utilize previous experience testing for health and human services projects to contribute valuable insights and expertise to current projects.SQL Execution and UNIX Navigation:- Execute SQL queries to validate and test database functionality.- Navigate and perform tasks on UNIX platforms as needed for testing purposes.DevOps and Shift Left Automation:- Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies, including Shift Left automation practices.- Contribute to the integration of testing processes into the DevOps pipeline to enable faster and more reliable software delivery.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- 8 to 10 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automated testing and test management tools.- Proficiency in HP test tools (Test Director/Quality Center, QTP), Tricentis Tosca, and SQL execution.- Experience with testing Curam products is a plus.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.- Experience with health and human services projects and UNIX platforms is preferred.
