As an Android Architect, you will be responsible for leading the architecture and design of our Android applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, design scalable and maintainable architectures, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality Android solutions.Key Responsibilities :- Technical Leadership : Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Android development team. Define technical vision, standards, and best practices for Android development.- System Architecture : Design and architect scalable, reliable, and maintainable Android application architectures. Define component-based architectures, separation of concerns, and modularization strategies.- Technology Evaluation : Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for Android development. Stay updated with the latest Android trends, libraries, and best practices.- Code Review : Review code written by team members and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to architectural guidelines.- Performance Optimization : Identify and address performance bottlenecks in Android applications. Optimize code, algorithms, and resource usage to improve performance and responsiveness.- Security : Implement security best practices and controls to protect Android applications from vulnerabilities and threats. Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.- Quality Assurance : Define and implement testing strategies for Android applications, including unit testing, integration testing, and automated testing. Ensure high code coverage and testability of Android codebases.- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) : Implement CI/CD pipelines for Android applications to automate build, test, and deployment processes. Use tools like Jenkins, Bitrise, or GitLab CI.- Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Android application architectures, design patterns, and technical decisions.- Mentorship and Training : Mentor junior developers and provide training and guidance on Android development best practices, design patterns, and architectural principles.- Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.Qualifications :Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Experience : 8 to 12 years of experience in Android development, with a focus on architecting and designing complex Android applications.Technical Skills :- Proficiency in Android development using Java or Kotlin programming languages.- Strong understanding of Android application architecture components, including Activities, Fragments, Services, Broadcast Receivers, and Content Providers.- Experience with Android Jetpack components, MVVM architecture, and other modern Android development frameworks.- Knowledge of Android UI/UX design principles, Material Design guidelines, and accessibility standards.- Familiarity with Android testing frameworks such as JUnit, Espresso, and Robolectric.- Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and network communication in Android applications.- Knowledge of security best practices for Android development, including encryption, authentication, and secure data storage.- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes for Android development.Soft Skills :- Excellent leadership and communication skills.- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
