Key Requirements:- Proficiency in Java programming language- Extensive experience with Selenium for automated testing of web/app applications- Strong understanding of API testing and tools such as Postman or similar- Hands-on experience with performance testing using JMeter or similar tools- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools for continuous integration and delivery- Proficient in SQL for database testing and validation- Experience working in Agile development environmentsRoles and Responsibilities:- Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts- Executing automated tests and analyzing results- Identifying and reporting software defects- Collaborating with development and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage- Contributing to the improvement of testing processes and methodologiesEssential Skills and Experience:- Java Programming: Proficiency in Java programming language for developing and maintaining automated test scripts.- Selenium: Extensive experience with Selenium for automated testing of web and application interfaces.- API Testing: Strong understanding of API testing principles and experience with tools such as Postman.- Performance Testing: Hands-on experience with performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.- CI/CD Pipelines: Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery pipelines, and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.- SQL Proficiency: Proficient in SQL for performing database testing and validation.- Agile Development: Experience working in Agile development environments, with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.Desirable Skills:- Test Automation Frameworks: Experience with test automation frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.- Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.- Cloud Testing: Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments and tools.- Security Testing: Basic understanding of security testing practices and tools.Additional Attributes:- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve testing issues.- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.- Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, supporting and mentoring junior team members as needed.- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and priorities in a dynamic development environment.
