Notice Period : Max 30 daysWe are searching for a talented Software Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data processing applications using Scala and Spark. You will work closely with data scientists and engineers to develop solutions that transform raw data into actionable insights.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain data processing applications using Scala and Spark- Work with various data sources (e.g., databases, message queues) to ingest and process data- Develop and implement unit and integration tests for data pipelines- Optimize Spark applications for performance and scalability- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to understand data requirements and develop solutions- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Scala, Spark, and related technologiesQualifications :- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer- Strong proficiency in Scala and Apache Spark- Experience with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Apache Hadoop) is a plus- Experience with data warehousing and big data concepts (e.g., data lakes, data pipelines) is a plus- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills- Strong communication and collaboration skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamBenefits :- Competitive salary and benefits package- Opportunity to work on challenging and impactful projects- Collaborative and supportive work environment- Continuous learning and development opportunities (ref:hirist.tech)
