Responsibilities: - Technical Leadership: Provide visionary technical leadership, serving as a mentor and coach to engineers across the organization. Foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence. - Architecture and Design: Lead the design and development of complex, distributed systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security are paramount considerations. Drive innovation in architecture patterns and technologies. - Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and strategic initiatives. Identify opportunities for innovation and optimization, aligning technical solutions with business objectives. - Hands-on Development: Have a strong hold on secure coding principles. Lead the team towards delivery of high-quality secure code. Actively contribute to coding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving efforts, leveraging your expertise in server-side languages, frameworks, and cloud technologies. - Code Review: Set high standards for code quality and conduct rigorous code reviews. Encourage collaboration and knowledge sharing among team members to maintain code excellence. - Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. - Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery of features. Promote a culture of collaboration and transparency. - Project Management: Lead the planning and execution of critical projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met. Provide guidance and support to teams to overcome challenges and achieve objectives. - Innovation and Best Practices: Drive the adoption of best practices in development, architecture, and technology stack. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, advocating for their integration where appropriate.Requirements: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 10 years of proven experience as a Principal Engineer, Staff Engineer, or in a similar capacity. - Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Kubernetes, for deploying and managing containerized applications. - Experience in delivering multi-tenant enterprise applications at scale. - Profound expertise in a server-side language such as NodeJs, Python, Go, or similar technologies. - Hands-on experience in API development using Typescript and frameworks such as Express is highly preferred. - Proficiency with modern web development technologies (e. g., React, Angular, Vue.js ) is a strong plus. - In-depth understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases and experience optimizing database performance at scale. - Extensive experience with cloud computing concepts and utilizing major cloud service providers (e. g., AWS, GCP, Azure) to design and optimize cloud-based solutions. - Demonstrated track record of delivering high-performance and scalable platforms in a fast-paced agile environment. - Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a strong drive to mentor and guide a team of developers toward technical excellence. - Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in tackling complex scale architecture problems. - Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code tools (e. g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation) is advantageous.
