Job Description :Key Responsibilities :- Performance Analysis : Conduct thorough performance analysis of our database systems to ideas for improvement and optimization.- Query Optimization : Analyze and optimize database queries, stored procedures, and data access patterns to improve performance and efficiency.- Indexing and Schema Design : Evaluate and optimize database indexing strategies and schema designs to enhance query performance and reduce latency.- Troubleshooting : Investigate and troubleshoot database performance issues, working closely with development and operations teams to implement effective solutions.- Best Practices and Standards : Define and promote best practices and standards for database performance tuning and optimization across the organization.- Documentation and Training : Document tuning strategies, optimization techniques, and best practices, and provide training and guidance to team members as needed.Qualifications :- Expertise in SQL query optimization, indexing, and schema design.- Proficiency in database performance monitoring and tuning tools.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server. - Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases is a plus.- Proven track record of successfully optimizing the performance of large-scale database systems in production environments.
