Role Description : This is a full-time on-site role for a Sr.SAP ABAP Consultant located in Bengaluru. The Sr.SAP ABAP Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing SAP ABAP solutions. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and provide technical expertise. The Sr. SAP ABAP Consultant will also perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.Qualifications :- Experience in developing ALV Reports, User Exits, BAPI, IDoc, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) in SAP ABAP.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Experience with SAP implementation and support projects.- Knowledge of SAP modules and integration with other systems.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- Certification in SAP ABAP is a plus.Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with 5-8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in SAP ABAP development, including debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. The role involves developing ALV reports, user exits, BAPI, IDoc, and object-oriented programming in SAP ABAP. The candidate should also possess strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities :- SAP ABAP Development Design, develop, and implement custom SAP ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces. - Create and enhance ALV (ABAP List Viewer) reports to meet business requirements. - Develop user exits, BAPIs (Business Application Programming Interfaces), and IDocs (Intermediate Documents) for various SAP modules. - Utilize Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) techniques in SAP ABAP to create efficient and maintainable code.Debugging and Troubleshooting :- Perform debugging and troubleshooting of SAP ABAP programs to identify and resolve issues. - Optimize the performance of SAP ABAP programs to ensure efficient operation. - Collaborate with functional teams to diagnose and fix issues related to SAP modules. - Performance Optimization Analyze and optimize the performance of existing SAP ABAP programs. - Implement best practices for performance tuning and code optimization. - Monitor and improve the performance of SAP systems through regular audits and assessments. - Project Involvement Participate in SAP implementation and support projects. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions. - Ensure the successful delivery of projects by adhering to timelines and quality standards.Collaboration and Communication :- Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements and provide effective solutions. - Communicate technical concepts and solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Provide training and support to end-users and junior developers as needed. Qualifications Experience and Skills :- 5-8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development. - Extensive experience in developing ALV reports, user exits, BAPI, IDoc, and object-oriented programming in SAP ABAP. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Experience with SAP implementation and support projects. - Technical Proficiency Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming and development tools. - Strong understanding of SAP modules and their integration points. - Familiarity with SAP performance optimization techniques and best practices.- Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. - Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and performance.
