Job Overview :- We are looking for an experienced IBM WebSphere Commerce (WCS) Developer to join our team. - The ideal candidate should have a strong background in WCS/HCL Commerce versions 7.x, 8.x, and 9.x, along with proficiency in related technologies such as REST, web services, data loading, Java/J2EE, SOLR, and Oracle Database. - The WCS Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable e-commerce solutions using IBM WebSphere Commerce platform.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and customize e-commerce applications using IBM WebSphere Commerce (WCS) platform.- Implement and integrate RESTful web services and data loading processes within WCS environment.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Develop and maintain various subsystems within the WCS architecture.- Utilize Java/J2EE technologies to enhance WCS functionalities and performance.- Configure and optimize SOLR search functionalities for improved search results.- Perform database operations and optimize queries within Oracle Database environment.- Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality and efficient codebase.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers as needed.- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in e-commerce and WCS development.Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- Minimum of 6 years of experience in IBM WebSphere Commerce (WCS) or HCL Commerce development.- Proficiency in WCS/HCL Commerce versions 7.x, 8.x, and 9.x.- Strong knowledge of RESTful web services, web services, and data loading techniques.- Experience with various subsystems within WCS architecture.- Solid understanding of Java/J2EE technologies.- Familiarity with SOLR search configuration and optimization.- Experience with Oracle Database and SQL queries optimization.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.- Relevant certifications in IBM WebSphere Commerce or HCL Commerce are a plus.
