Job Description : BI Domain Lead JD :- Oracle Business Intelligence Application. - Minimum 8 years of experience in Oracle BI (OBIEE) implementation, development & support.- Must be good in OBIEE RPD development and dimensional data modelling. - Should have good knowledge in security configuration & performance tuning in OBIEE.- Hands on experience in ETL designs as well as OBIEE Admin activities. - Should ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussions overview as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best practices, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).- To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity. - To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations. - To be responsible for providing technical guidance or solutions; define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.Add below JD : Key Responsibilities : OBIEE Implementation, Development, and Support : - Lead OBIEE implementation projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery. Develop, enhance, and maintain OBIEE reports, dashboards, and analytics. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for OBIEE applications. RPD Development and Dimensional Data Modeling : - Design and develop OBIEE repository (RPD) including Physical, Business, and Presentation layers. - Implement best practices in dimensional data modeling to optimize data structures and performance. Security Configuration and Performance Tuning : - Configure OBIEE security settings to ensure data protection and compliance. - Perform performance tuning to enhance the efficiency and speed of OBIEE reports and dashboards. ETL Design and OBIEE Administration : - Design and develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into the OBIEE environment. - Perform administrative tasks including patching, upgrades, and monitoring of the OBIEE environment. Process Compliance and Technical Consulting : - Ensure compliance with established processes and methodologies within the assigned module. - Participate in technical discussions to evaluate feasibility, alternatives, best practices, and risks. - Break down complex technical requirements into manageable components and provide estimations. Team Development and Guidance : - Mentor and guide team members to enhance their technical skills and productivity. - Provide technical leadership and advocate best practices and coding standards. Status Reporting and Risk Management : - Prepare and submit regular status reports to minimize project risks and manage escalations. - Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and escalations. Technical Guidance and Best Practices Implementation : - Provide technical guidance and solutions to the team. - Define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards within the team.
