Job description :Roles & Responsibilities :- Expertise in native HANA with exposure to BW.- Interact with Carrier business users, Carrier Tech Governance team, Business/Data Analyst, SAP HANA Developer, front-end, AWS teams to understand KPI requirements.- Review detailed KPI requirements, understand required business rules, calculations/manipulations required, source system objects, existing HANA models etc.- Prepare technical design document and get approval from Carrier Tech Governance team.- Assign/distribute development of HANA models (HANA calculation views, stored procedures etc.) as per KPI requirements, to SAP HANA Developer.- Develop HANA models (HANA calculation views, stored procedures etc.) as per KPI requirements, carry out unit testing, prepare test results.- Coordinate with Basis and AWS teams to refresh required data in BW Dev & QA systems from respective source systems.- Coordinate with Business, PBI teams during UAT, SIT, Go-Live Support during hyper care and fix defects Experience : - At least 8 years of technical experience in native HANA preferable with experience/exposure in BW - Good end to end implementation experience in native HANA with hands-on experience in developing data flows & models in native HANA models - Good experience in resolving issues with respect to performance optimization in native HANA models.- Experience in implementing/supporting HANA based data flows/analytics in functional areas such as Finance, Sales & Distribution, Procurement etc.- Preferable good exposure in front-end reporting tools such as PBI - Good communication skills to interact with various stakeholders such as internal teams as well as external teams such as business analysts, end business users etc has context menu".Technical Skills :- Core SAP BW on HANA Extensive experience in SAP BW on HANA data modeling, including Composite Providers, Advanced DSOs, InfoObjects, and Multi Providers. - Proficiency in creating and managing data extraction processes using SAP Data Services, ODP, SLT, and CDS views.- Experience with BW on HANA process chains, transformations, and DTPs. HANA Native Development :- Strong knowledge of HANA native development, including calculation views, attribute views, and analytic views.- Proficiency in SQL Script and HANA procedures for complex data processing and transformations. Experience with HANA XS Advanced and HANA Studio. - Reporting and Analytics Tools Expertise in designing and developing BW queries using BEx Query Designer. - Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, Lumira, or other SAP reporting tools. - Familiarity with non-SAP reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.Performance Optimization :- Knowledge of HANA performance optimization techniques, including indexing, partitioning, and memory management.- Experience in tuning BW data models, ETL processes, and report performance.- Integration and Administration Experience with SAP BW/4HANA migration and administration. - Familiarity with integration of BW on HANA with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA) and non-SAP systems. - Proficiency in SAP BW system administration, including transport management, user authorization, and system monitoring. Soft Skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and performance.
