Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Jira Admin with over 8 years of experience to oversee and manage our Jira environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a customer service-oriented mindset. Familiarity with finance-related processes and terminology is a plus. This role requires a proactive individual who can work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring that Jira is effectively utilized to meet business needs.Responsibilities:Jira Administration:- Design, configure, manage, and support Jira and other Atlassian tools.- Develop and maintain custom Jira workflows, fields, dashboards, and reports.- Create and manage complex Jira workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes, and notification schemes.- Ensure the efficient operation and performance of the Jira environment.Team Leadership:- Lead and mentor a team of Jira administrators, providing guidance and support.- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement Jira solutions that meet business needs.- Plan, schedule, and oversee Jira and plug-in upgrades in collaboration with the team.Optimization and Problem Solving:- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to optimize Jira setups and workflows.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Jira and other Atlassian tools.- Provide analytical and problem-solving support to ensure Jira solutions are effective and efficient.Training and Documentation:- Develop and deliver training programs for staff on Jira and Confluence.- Create comprehensive Jira training and support documentation.- Conduct Jira demonstrations for client project teams and internal stakeholders.Customer Service and Support:- Provide exceptional customer service to users of Jira, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.- Support end-users by troubleshooting and resolving Jira-related issues.- Maintain a customer service-oriented mindset, ensuring user satisfaction with Jira solutions.Finance-Related Processes:- Understand and apply finance-related processes and terminology in Jira configurations.- Work with finance teams to ensure Jira solutions meet financial reporting and compliance requirements.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Over 8 years of experience in Jira administration or working with Jira.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Experience in administrative assistance and providing technical support.- Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on user satisfaction.- Familiarity with finance-related processes and terminology is a plus.- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.Preferred Skills:- Experience with other Atlassian tools such as Confluence and Bitbucket.- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python) for Jira automation.- Familiarity with ITSM (IT Service Management) practices and tools.- Certifications in Jira Administration or other Atlassian tools.
