Qualifications :- Technical Support, Server Administration, and Troubleshooting skills.- Extensive experience in Windows Administration and System Administration.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.- Ability to work independently and in a team.- Relevant certifications such as MCSE or MCSA are a plus.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Role Overview :- The Windows Administrator will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting Windows-based systems within the organization. - The role requires a strong understanding of Windows server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and server virtualization. - The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to system monitoring and optimization, with the ability to respond promptly to technical issues and provide effective solutions.Responsibilities :System Administration :- Install, configure, and maintain Windows server operating systems and related software.- Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of all servers.- Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations.- Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures for critical data.Active Directory Management :- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within Active Directory.- Maintain and update Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security policies and standards.- Troubleshoot Active Directory replication issues and domain controller failures.Server Virtualization :- Administer virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware.- Create and manage virtual machines (VMs) and virtual networks.- Optimize virtual infrastructure for performance and resource utilization.Security and Compliance :- Implement and enforce security best practices to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.Technical Support :- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and other IT teams.- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on Windows-based systems.- Respond to incidents and service requests in a timely manner.Documentation and Training :- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.- Provide training and knowledge transfer to IT staff and end-users as needed.
