About the role:Member of Platform Monitoring team, who manage the site reliability, observability and performance of all technical infrastructure, environments, and enterprise systems. Technical and analytical approach to ensure that our SaaS systems are performing optimally during normal operation and as we introduce new features, traffic, and load.Responsibilities:- Member of Platform Monitoring team - Responsible for actively monitoring SaaS infrastructure, site reliability and its efficient operation on a 5x24 basis. - Configuring, tuning, and managing application and infrastructure monitoring and observability tools - Implementation of monitoring processes and procedures - Real-time and regular reporting on system performance - Participation in Severity 1 and 2 incident management for the infrastructure - Individual contribution to establish the Platform Monitoring team as a high performing group.Experience and Skills Required:Experience of any or all of the following will be beneficial: - 5+ years' experience in IT operations and cloud infrastructure with 24/7 high availability - People and communication skills to identify and highlight potential- incidents. - Working with multiple teams and systems to analyze incidents and helping find solutions. - Experience working and monitoring complex infrastructure, applications and networks. - Experience with monitoring tools such as DataDog, New Relic or Prometheus - Working knowledge of cloud hosting on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Rackspace or AWS - Linux (RedHat / Oracle), Apache, JBoss EAP (ref:hirist.tech)
