Description:
We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with HANA experience to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and support of ABAP programs within our SAP environment, leveraging the capabilities of SAP HANA. This role requires a deep understanding of ABAP programming and SAP HANA technologies to enhance the performance and functionality of our SAP applications.Key Responsibilities :Development and Customization :- Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEF) to meet business requirements.- Utilize ABAP Workbench tools to create and modify ABAP programs.- Develop and optimize ABAP code to leverage the full potential of SAP HANA's in-memory computing capabilities.HANA Integration :- Develop and manage CDS views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), and HANA artifacts (procedures, views, etc.).- Implement and optimize SAP HANA data models and ensure their seamless integration with ABAP programs.Technical Analysis and Troubleshooting :- Perform technical analysis to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.- Collaborate with functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, providing technical insights and recommendations.- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of ABAP code in SAP HANA environment.Documentation and Support :- Create and maintain technical documentation for all developed objects.- Provide support and training to end-users and team members.- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.Project Participation :- Work as part of project teams to deliver new SAP functionalities and enhancements.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.Qualifications and Skills :Education :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Experience :- 3+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.- Hands-on experience with SAP HANA and its integration with SAP systems.Technical Skills :- Proficiency in ABAP programming, including object-oriented ABAP.- Strong experience with SAP HANA, including SQL scripting, modeling, and performance optimization.- Knowledge of SAP modules such as FICO, SD, MM, PP, or HR is a plus.- Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 development is advantageous.Soft Skills :- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to quality and timely delivery.Preferred Qualifications :- SAP certification in ABAP and/or HANA.- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations.- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
