Job Description :We are seeking an experienced VSTO Add-in Developer (.NET) with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience to join our team on a remote contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing VSTO add-ins primarily for Microsoft Word, leveraging your expertise in C#, .NET Framework, and the Office object model.Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain VSTO add-ins for Microsoft Word, ensuring seamless integration and user-friendly functionality.- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.- Implement custom Ribbon interfaces, task panes, and other UI elements using XAML and C#.- Enhance and optimize existing VBA-based templates by integrating them with VSTO add-ins.- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all code and customizations.- Collaborate with other developers and IT professionals to ensure smooth deployment and compatibility of VSTO add-ins.- Stay up-to-date with the latest VSTO and Office development best practices.Qualifications :- 5+ years of experience developing VSTO add-ins using C# and the .NET Framework.- Strong understanding of the Microsoft Office object model, particularly for Word.- Proficiency in XAML for designing user interfaces.- Experience working with Ribbon controls and customizing Office UI elements.- Familiarity with VBA macros and the ability to integrate them with VSTO add-ins.- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.Preferred Qualifications :- Experience integrating VSTO add-ins with external systems or data sources.- Familiarity with COM add-in development.- Experience with other Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).- Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control (Git) and unit testing.
