Job Position : SAP QM/PP (Quality Management/Production Planning) Consultant. Location : Sriperumbudur / Chennai. Business Unit : ERP. Relevant Experience : 6 to 8 years of relevant experience. Job Purpose : We are looking for an experienced SAP QM/PP (Quality Management/Production Planning) Consultant with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience to join our team.The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in SAP Quality Management and Production Planning modules, along with a strong understanding of integration points with other SAP modules.This role involves providing technical leadership, implementing best practices, and optimizing business processes within the SAP QM/PP landscape.The candidate should have a proven track record of successful SAP implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.Typically Reports To : Client / Account Manager / SAP Competency Head / Project Manager. Principal Duties And Responsibilities :- Provide expert consultation and support for SAP PP/QM module implementation, configuration, and enhancement projects.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the SAP PP/QM module.- Design, configure, and implement SAP PP/QM solutions to meet business needs, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.- Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to SAP PP/QM module functionality.- Conduct end-user training sessions and create documentation to support knowledge transfer and user adoption.- Lead and mentor junior consultants on SAP PP/QM module functionalities and best practices.- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends related to production planning and quality management.- Participate in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation activities for SAP PP/QM projects.- Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the SAP PP/QM module.- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP PP/QM module post-implementation.Minimum Job Requirements :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- Advanced degree preferred.- Experience working as a SAP PP/QM Consultant, with at least full lifecycle implementations.- In-depth knowledge of SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality management principles.- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.- Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.- SAP certification in Production Planning and/or Quality Management is a plus.- Experience working in agile methodologies is desirable.This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned SAP PP/QM Consultant to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of SAP implementation projects.
