Infotainment UX EngineerExperience: 7+ years (Relevant experience: 6 years minimum)Location: Bangalore - Work From Office mandatoryEmployment type: Permanent role with an Automotive Engineering Service CompanyJob Description:The Infotainment Engineer will be responsible for developing and enhancing infotainment systems within the automotive domain. This role requires extensive experience in the automotive field, particularly in the infotainment domain with a focus on user experience (UX) environment. Proficiency in using design tools such as FIGMA is an added advantage for this role.Key Responsibilities:Develop and enhance infotainment systems for vehicles, focusing on delivering exceptional user experiences.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, designers, and testers to design, develop, and integrate infotainment features.Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and regulations related to infotainment systems.Conduct user research and gather requirements to understand user needs and preferences for infotainment features.Design and prototype user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) using tools like FIGMA to create intuitive and visually appealing infotainment interfaces.Implement and integrate infotainment features, including multimedia playback, navigation, connectivity, and smartphone integration.Conduct testing and validation of infotainment systems to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet quality standards.Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues related to infotainment systems during development and post-production phases.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in the automotive industry, with at least 6 years of relevant experience in the infotainment domain.Proficiency in automotive infotainment systems development, including familiarity with industry standards and regulations.Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and design methodologies.Experience using design tools such as FIGMA for UI/UX prototyping and design.Knowledge of software development methodologies and tools used in the automotive industry.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
